For Candidates

We treat our candidates as prospective future clients, and hence with respect. We use our best endeavours to present fairly all our candidates to suitable employers.

We have successfully placed our candidates with well known employers in the UK. Examples include Macintyre Hudson, Kuwait Petroleum Int Ltd, Novae Group, British Standards Institute, Anglia Regional Co-operative and IPPF.

Our focus tends to be on the upper end of the market in both Internal Audit and Risk Management – senior staff such as heads of audit and risk managers, chief internal auditors, audit managers, senior compliance auditors and principal auditors. However, we will act for all ambitious internal audit professionals who help us to help them.

How can you help us help you?

  1. You should send us a detailed and up to date CV, containing all the information that a prospective employer would want:-
    • Recent career history (up to 15 years)
    • Current employment status
    • Current and desired salary and benefits
    • Sector experience
    • IT experience (hardware platforms and software)
    • Project experience
    • Marital status
    • Date of birth
    • ALL contact details
    • Institute memberships
    • Professional qualifications (distinguishing those obtained by examination) and dates obtained
    • Education – degrees and school certificates
    • Extent of willingness to travel or relocate
    • Mobility
    • Particular skills, such as IT and languages
    • Personal interests
  2. Send us a scanned copy of each of your degree and Institute membership certificates
  3. We strongly recommend you send us a separate page listing the last 6 audit assignments or projects that you have worked on. This gives a flavour of your work and seniority.
  4. Send us a 30-60 word summary of you as both an individual and professional person. View sample CV.
  5. Give us contact details of 3 referees.
  6. Don't embellish too much or lie – you will be found out!
  7. We are good communicators and always strive to keep candidates informed about the status of their applications. But of course we cannot contact everyone and so a periodic ‘phone call to us weekly or fortnightly would be most helpful to us.
