Job Description
Our client is a leading risk management adviser and insurance and reinsurance broker quoted on the stock exchange and operating globally. They have an exciting opportunity for a fully qualified Accountant, to take up the role of Audit Consultant, travelling all over the world to perform audits, some under the instruction of the external auditors, others being investigations, regulatory audits, due diligence and ad-hoc reviews. Up to date knowledge of international accounting standards and the UK regulatory environment is required, plus excellent communication skills and a willingness and flexibility to travel. The candidate must also have strong commercial awareness, be highly motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team. A sound knowledge of insurance/reinsurance practices is essential, as well as the ability to deliver high quality financial and operational reviews. The successful candidate will be mature and proactive, and relish responsibility to deliver best practice in a very dynamic work environment.
Required Skills
Applicants MUST be professionally qualified Accountants ( ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a minimum 3 years’ PQE
